What's Each Faction Doing?
Pack Leaders
The Pack Leader must be strong, dependable, and well-trained in the art of the AWOOOOOOO. Proper AWOOOOing is essential for proving your dominance as a faction, as well as checking in with other Pack Leaders over even the longest of distances.
While beginners to the art are training their howls, AWOOO veterans know that a true AWOOO can incorporate a physical element; everything from semaphore to sock puppets are accepted. With that in mind,
depict your Pack Leaders showing off their best AWOOOO.
Content Requirements
At minimum, your entry must include one Pack Leader tokota showing off their AWOOOOO. This can be anything from a simple howl to more....creative examples.
Prestige Breeders
The Pack Leader AWOOOO is one of the most annoying sounds on the planet, and must be stopped at all costs. No matter what it takes.
Every year the Pack Leaders start their stupid AWOOOO, and no one gets any sleep for days. Prestige Breeders have had to learn how to cope, and the best strategies are passed down through the ages.
Depict your Prestige Breeders using their best noise-cancelling techniques to drown out the AWOOOOO.Content Requirements
At a minimum, your entry must include one Prestige Breeder tokota doing their best to drown out the PLs. This can be anything from sticking their head in noise-cancelling banks of snow to participating in an even louder activity.
Faction Neutral
As a true neutral in this fight, your job is to
judge. Bring out your inner skeptic and rain down your judgement upon these fools!
Whether they secretly side with the PLs, the PBs, or prefer to remain true neutral, the Faction Neutrals can all agree that watching the PLs and PBs yell at each other for a few days straight is... Well, it's something.
Depict your Faction Neutral tokota ranking, rating, reacting to, or just amused by the goings-on.Content Requirements
At a minimum, your entry must include one Faction Neutral tokota judging the other two factions as they compete. This can be anything from holding up scorecards to secretly trying to help or sabotage one of the other participants.
Rules & Judging
- Judging will be done based on creativity and hilarity, so we encourage off-the-wall and funny submissions!
- At minimum all art entries must be fullbody colored, with a background. A small bonus will be added for shading.
- Lit is allowed. We will be judging based on content, not wordcount; it's more important to us that your idea is funny or creative than how many words you write. Minimum wordcount is only 800 words - impress us!
- The location is the snowy north of Siberia. A bonus will be applied for accurate backgrounds; this can be anything from blank snowy plains to a snow covered forest to the ruins of Sosin Castle itself.
- You as an individual may ONLY enter for the faction you are a part of, and only enter once!
- Leasing is permitted, but the leased tokota must be from the same faction you're in. You may not lease tokotas from other factions in order to enter as those factions.
- Collaboration is encouraged! A bonus will be added for collaborating with either others in your faction or other factions.
- Likewise, there is a bonus for including other factions' tokotas in your piece. Note that collaborating with someone of a different faction doesn't grant this; you would need to include a tokota from someone NOT part of the collaboration.
- Remember to submit your entry to the correct comment (see below) and put a link to the contest and at least this information in the description:

Placings
The number of placings available will depend on how many entries we receive! Starting with one placing (first), for every 5 entrants to each faction's class we will add another placing - up to a maximum of 3. (So for example, if there are 7 entrants in one class, there will be a first and second placing but no third.)
We will also be getting sanctioned by the group, which means that for every 5 entries in a certain class, that class will get
a semi-custom, starter breeding, or common non-physical trait, and if a class goes over 25 entries it will gain
a "special" semi-custom, starter breeding, or uncommon non-physical trait!
Donations and advertising will be rewarded!
Prize donations and advertising are hugely welcome, but we couldn't let our generous benefactors go unrewarded! Each person who donates a prize to the competition or advertises it in a journal or poll will be given tickets in a draw to win
one full slot to
